I’m astounded lately by the number of women I know who are using online dating to meet men. I’m not talking about boring, bitchy women who look like a cross between Mama Fratelli and Maude (of Harold & Maude, not Maude starring Bea Arthur, although that would work too). I’m talking about funny, intelligent, well-to-do, attractive women who should have no trouble finding any number of men who would be lucky to squire them about town. Perhaps “astounded” isn’t the right word. Deeply fucking irritated; like jock itch in my gutting works. Yes, that sums it up rather nicely.
