I think it’s quite clear that I crush a lot. Women are like candles, sensual and delicate, and my interest in any particular female is a fickle flame. Not that I’m incapable of sustained admiration, but you certainly wouldn’t go to Golden Corral time and time again only to eat platefuls of runny scrambled eggs on every occasion. You have to try the tender, greasy sausage links and sample the limp, lukewarm, undercooked bacon. So, yes, now that I think about it, women are more like a breakfast buffet.
If I had to pick one to be Th.Ch.Thr’s Woman of the Year, you’d think I would choose Christina Hendricks. An obvious choice, but no, her wick was nearing its end this year. Also, she isn’t returning my calls. Read more »
I’m not a tastemaker by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, I spend most of my time nestled against the safe, smooth comfort of the backside of the curve. Nonetheless, my life has a soundtrack just as I’m sure yours does. If you came anywhere near me in 2010, there was a good chance you were going to hear tunes from these albums gently accenting our encounter.

I don’t make it to the theaters very often. Perhaps 2011 will change that. For now, here are the films I would have seen this year had I not been afraid of getting bed bugs:
Youth in Revolt – I wanted to see Michael Cera play someone other than Michael Cera, even if that other person is just Michael Cera with a mustache.
